About Us

Ed is a former member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. His policing career included rural and municipal policing, highway patrol, drug enforcement, and criminal investigations that focused on organized crime and terrorist activities. He was also tasked with planning and providing security during Canadian VIP visits by the Queen Elizabeth II, Pope John Paul, United States Presidents, and other world leaders.

He concluded his policing career at Toronto Lester B. Pearson International Airport as Patrol Sergeant/Watch Commander, whose responsibility focused on providing security for Canada's largest International Airport.

Ed has instructed, coordinated, designed and directed courses for security and policing within the College system for twelve (12) years at three Community Colleges. He most recently was Director of Corporate Training for policing, enforcement and security. His responsibilities included consulting services andthe administration, design and delivery of in-service, part-time and corporate training courses and for easoned policing, protective service, governmental and corporate investigative and compliance professionals.
He is presently Executive Director of J.E. Judd and Associates and continues to provide training and consulting services for Security, Investigative and Enforcement agencies. He has also provided training for many Provincial and Federal organizations including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Workplace Safety Insurance Board, Corps of Commissionaires and Revenue Canada.

He is active as an associate member of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, International Association of Chiefs of Police and the Canadian General Standards Board (team designing a national training standard for the security industry).
